Terms of service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the OrikaTransfers website and the chauffeur services we provide. By booking a transfer with us you accept these terms.
1. The service
OrikaTransfers operates licensed private chauffeur transfers (VTC) in Barcelona and across Spain, Andorra and southern France. All vehicles are professionally operated by licensed drivers and fully insured for passenger transport.
2. Bookings
A booking becomes a contract once you receive a confirmation email or message from us with a booking reference. You are responsible for providing accurate pickup, drop-off, date, time and contact details. We are not liable for delays caused by inaccurate information.
3. Payment
Prices are quoted in Euros (€) and include VAT, tolls and fuel unless stated otherwise. Payment is processed through Stripe, our PCI-compliant payment provider. Pay-at-booking secures the vehicle; pay-after-ride is offered for selected corporate clients.
4. Cancellations & changes
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup. Cancellations within 24 hours are charged 50%; within 2 hours or no-show are charged 100%. See our full Cancellation Policy for details.
5. Delays & waiting time
Airport arrivals: 60 minutes free wait from landing. Other pickups: 15 minutes free wait. Beyond that, additional waiting time is charged at €0.75 per minute. We track flights in real time and adjust automatically — no extra fees apply for flight-related delays.
6. Liability
Our liability is limited to the value of the trip booked, except where Spanish or EU law provides otherwise. We are not liable for missed flights, lost luggage left in the vehicle (we will return found items at cost), or losses arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
7. Force majeure
We are not responsible for failures to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, strikes, road closures, accidents on route, or government restrictions. We will refund any unused portion of a service in such cases.
8. Privacy
Your data is handled per our Privacy Policy. We never sell your information and only share it with our chauffeurs and the strict minimum needed to deliver your transfer.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any dispute arising under or in connection with this contract shall be submitted to the courts of Barcelona, Spain, except where consumer-protection law gives you stronger rights elsewhere.
